Coach Michael Cuccinello is the president of Long Island FURY Volleyball, Inc. and is also the head coach of the 18-under team. Coach Cuccinello has been a part of Long Island FURY since its second season, having coached at each of the 16’s, 17’s, and 18’s levels. Coach Cuccinello is dedicated to player recruitment and therefore devotes much time to expanding his contacts among college coaches. Coach Cuccinello’s greatest coaching success came in 2007 and 2010 when he led teams to the Junior Olympics.
Coach Donald Consorte is the vice-president of Long Island FURY, one of its two founding members, as well as the head coach of the 16-under team. Coach Consorte has coached every level our club has to offer during which he has utilized his fifteen-plus years of coaching experience. Coach Consorte is also the head girls’ varsity volleyball coach of Eastport-South Manor High School where his success is both highly recognized and also highly respected. Coach Consorte focus is one of early player development.

Coach Lenny Zaloga has been part of the Long Island FURY organization for the past three years. Coach Zaloga coaches our 15-under team and his experience is an invaluable tool for our club’s success. Coach Zaloga is widely respected as one of our region’s premier technicians which is why we are particularly happy to have him coach our younger levels. Coach Zaloga is also the head girls’ varsity volleyball coach for Westhampton Beach High School and has coached for a variety of college programs.
Coach Amanda Katz joins Long Island FURY this season and is coaching one of our 15-under teams. Coach Katz has coached for several other clubs in the past and brings with her a great reputation and an energetic coaching style. Coach Katz is also the head girls’ varsity volleyball coach for Sachem East High School.
